Established in 1946, Lakeview Country Club is a semi-private, 9 hole golf course located in Winterset, Iowa.

Our golf course is a scenic and challenging 9-hole course designed for golfers of all skill levels. With a par of 35, our course offers a perfect balance of playability and strategy, featuring well-manicured fairways, lush greens, and thoughtfully placed hazards.

We provide two sets of tee boxes, allowing players to customize their experience, whether they’re looking for a relaxed round or a more competitive challenge.

In 2024, we proudly unveiled our brand new clubhouse, providing a modern and welcoming space to relax before or after your round.

• No Animals Allowed: For the safety and comfort of all members, pets and other animals are not permitted on the course

• Appropriate Golf Attire: Members are expected to wear proper golf attire, including suitable clothing and shoes, while on the golf course

• No Outside Alcohol: Bringing outside alcohol onto the premises is illegal

• Start Play on Hole 1: To ensure smooth play and avoid congestion, all players must begin their round at hole 1

• Maximum For Players Per Group: Exceptions only during member events

• Follow Cart Path Signs: Please adhere to all cart path signs

• Be Courteous of All: The expectation is appropriate golf etiquette at all times

The Board Members of Lakeview Country Club has received/witnessed rules infractions established by our club and its members. Therefore, we must implement a policy to discipline individuals or groups to make sure our rules and guidelines are followed for the benefit of the overall membership at LVCC.

• Strike #1 - Written Warning #1. The individual/group will be notified of any rule infraction/s. A list of rule infractions will be put into the board minutes for review. Written notice placed in individual’s file. No suspension.

• Strike #2 - Written Warning #2. Two written warnings within a consecutive 30-day period will result in a 2-week suspension of membership from LVCC. A list of rule infractions will be put into the board minutes for review. Written notice/discipline action will be detailed and placed in individuals' file. 

• Strike #3 - Third notice within a 60-day period will result in a one-month suspension from LVCC. A list of rule infractions will be put into the board minutes for review. Written notice/discipline action will be detailed and placed in individuals' file.

• Strike #4 - A Fourth rule infraction within a membership season will result in a dismissal from LVCC. A list of rule infractions will be put into the board minutes. Written notice/discipline action will be detailed and placed in individuals' file.

*Individuals are welcome to attend board meetings to discuss their actions that led to the written notices/suspension/dismissal.
